ethos essential oil.

Pure essential oils infuse all our personal care and home products with a wonderful fragrance.

Essential oils contain aromatic substances found in various parts of plants and give plants their characteristic smell. Plants use their unique scent to communicate with their environment and stimulate attraction, growth, or protection.

Scents for us, however, evoke memories. Thanks to their high concentration, essential oils are enormously powerful. Just a few drops are enough to make your home smell wonderful - to make and bring about beautiful memories.

But not every essential oil you see is the same.

quality

The quality and yield of an essential oil are determined by a whole range of factors, including the geographic region it is grown, soil, amount of sunlight, extraction method, and how it is stored, among other factors. This, obviously, will also affect the essential oil’s scent. We always choose the most active form and not the cheapest basic raw material. With lavender, for example, there is a difference between lavandin (a hybrid form) and true lavender. Only the latter creates a luxurious fragrance.

pure

We use only pure essential oil. Often the pure (and thus expensive) form of essential oil is diluted to reduce cost. Price is determined by which essential oil is selected and depends on how labor-intensive it is to extract the essential oil from the plant, flower, or herb. Is the flower, plant, or herb yield low or extraction labor-intensive? Then the price will be higher.

no dilution

Sometimes essential oils are diluted with chemical ingredients. This gives an unnatural, pungent smell to the oil. In addition, many essential oils are diluted with a greasy-type of oil.

At RainPharma, the essential oils are so powerful and pure that just a few drops are enough. We do not dilute them to keep the price down—and that’s the undiluted truth.
